Registration fees

  • All registration fees are in Euro and excluding 19% VAT.
  • The registration fee includes :
    • admission to the technical sessions, the exhibition, the cocktail on Wednesday evening
    • one congress bag with complete meeting materials
    • coffee breaks and lunches during the congress days from Tuesday till Thursday
  • The fee excludes your hotel accommodation

Cancellation fees

Registration :

  • 70% Refund for cancellations until 14/04/2017
  • No refund for cancellations as of 15/04/2017

Accommodation :

  • 100% of the entire stay can be charged by the hotel for cancellations after 15/04/2017 if they can’t resell the rooms.


Block bookings have been made at conference venue. During your registration you will be able to book your accommodation at preferred rates. Your credit card details will be requested as guarantee in case of late cancellation or no-show. Payment of the hotel will have to be done at the hotel on check-in or check-out.

Standard room - Single Use is at €159,00 per night
Standard room - Double Use is at €199,00 per night
All rates are including breakfast, WiFi, VAT and taxes.

Passports and Visas

For inhabitants of the EU countries part of Schengen an ID card or passport valid for at least 6 months after date of entry is sufficient for entry into Germany.
If your country of origin is the USA, you will need a valid passport to visit Germany, but no visa is required for a stay of up to three months.
A visa is required for participants from Afghanistan, Algeria, Angola, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Bangladesh, Belarus, Belize, Benin, Bhutan, Bolivia, Botswana, Burkina Faso, Burma/Myanmar, Burundi, Cambodia, Cameroon, Cape Verde, Central African Republic, Chad, China, Comoros, Congo, Cote D’ivoire, Cuba, Dem. Rep. Visitors from countries outside the European Union who will be staying longer than 90 days require a visa in their passport. The visas must be requested from the corresponding German consulate in each country.

If you want to call another country from Germany, then dial 00 followed by the country code and the telephone number.
If you wish to make national calls within Germany, just dial the number without the country prefix.

Don’t expect German emergency services to speak fluent English. Try and telephone with a German-speaker if you can. Otherwise, be patient, speak slowly and clearly and, if possible, work out a few basic sentences in German.


Electricity is 230 V, 50 Hz. Outlets are CEE7/5 (protruding male earth pin) and accept either CEE7/5 (Grounded), CEE7/7 (Grounded) or CEE7/16 (non-grounded) plugs.


Berlin has a continental climate with cold winters, hot summers and fairly mild autumns and springs. Summer (June to August) weather in Berlin is pleasant and sunny, the days are long and high temperatures average 23°C.
Average daily temperature in Berlin is around 10-15°C in May.


Banks open early in the morning, around 08.30h, but close for the day at 14.00h.
Each bank normally has a small plaque outside its offices indicating any special opening hours.
ATM’s can be found at banks but also in most shopping streets. Many banks have automatic currency exchange machines that also take credit cards. Most hotels, restaurants and shops accept major credit cards.
